Once again, Amber Lounge was the place to be during the 77th Monaco Grand Prix and got its guests partying three days in a row until the early morning!
Beginning the annual prestigious fashion show with a spectacular ‘Ice White’ theme on Friday’s evening at Le Meridien Beach Plaza, the beachside catwalk featured stunning bridal and evening gowns by renowned celebrity designer Yolancris alongside chic menswear by Christopher Bates and swimwear by Ladyship of Lady Victoria Hervey.
The star-studded event drew a huge crowd of A-list celebrities and Royalty, including HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco, Princess Märtha Louise of Norway, Victoria’s Secret model Josephine Skriver, Pamela Anderson with her boyfriend Amil Rami and son Brendon Lee, Wold champion footballer Blaise Matuidi, Freddie Hunt, Eddie Irvine and Chachi Gonzales.
As a tradition, Formula 1 drivers left their competitive streak at the track for the iconic event. Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc lead the Amber Lounge Charity Fashion Show runway next to fellow drivers George Russell (Williams), Antonio Giovinazzi (Alfa Romeo), Esteban Gutierrez (Mercedes), Jack Aitken (Renault), Guanyu Zhou (Renault) and Sergey Sirotkin (Renault), Nicholas Latfi (Racing Point).
Alfa Romeo’s test driver Tatiana Calderon strode down the catwalk followed by the F1 ladies dressed in Yolancris. All funds raised during the live auction, for the third consecutive year went to Sir Jackie Stewart’s ‘Race Against Dementia’ Foundation. The former F1 driver, whose wife is suffering from dementia, founded this association in order to deepen research on this devastating disease and to help families of patients.
On race day, Amber Lounge’s luxury celebrity yachts hosted Josephine Skriver, Miss Universe 2012 and TV star Olivia Culpo, Blaise Matuidi, Mark Cavendish and model Madison Headrick along with VIP guests for race viewing.
In all three nights from Friday to Sunday, many other celebrities mingled at VIP tables and vibrated on the most legendary dance floor of Monaco during the Grand Prix. While Friday’s after party – launched with an ultra high-energy DJ set by world-renowned Sigma – welcomed NBA star Rudy Gobert, Rugby players Sam Warburton and George North, AS Monaco player Nacer Chadli, Red Bull athlete Lindsay Vaughn and PK Subban, other A-list guests and drivers joined Saturday’s and Sunday’s parties to enjoy DJ Sigala on turntables : Olivia Culpo, Jasmine Tooks, Marco Verratti, Leandro Paredes, Liam Cunningham, Gary Dourdan, Helen Owen, Rob Sylvester, Wynand Olivier, Mike Tindall, Valtteri Bottas, Sergio Perez, Carlos Sainz, Pierre Gasly, Nico Hulkenberg, Anthoine Hubert, Jean-Eric Vergne, Andre Lotterer, Eddie Irvine and Vitantonio Liuzzi.
